Initially caught my eye with this piece on the creative review blog, the hand rendered type and swirls is particular style from Seb Lester I'm interested in and would work well with a few potential briefs I have in mind, suiting the content well. I want to produce purely visual pieces of typography aswell as my written statement, typographic pieces of music lyrics for Elbow.
Typography like this has such a strong visual impact and becomes more artistic than visual communication, which I'm fine with in the right context, attention to detail with metallic black ink on Bright White Plike stock, 330gsm makes the type desirable prints.
Adverts above display that decorative type of a similar style has been used in advertising also by Seb, Decoratove accents, but still clear, direct and informative.
' Ultra-sophisticated and yet ultra-unsophisticated. Delicate and yet indelicate. One of the nicest rude words I've drawn.'
