Photography 2 - final.

With the issues from previous shoot, when all the products were ready, shooting everything in one go in a better environment, meant consistency. Its taken a little longer, and a little later at this stage to produce, but I'm happy with the results, some with little post editing.

will be keeping the t-shirt model shots with dan, but I had to reshoot the polo shirt examples with better lighting.

Swing tags - Update

Update of tags. Outer stock colour has changed to a more fitting blue, with the repeat pattern on the interior. The reverse label is also smaller, but at a readable point size with room for price/size etc. I tried different combinations of colours previously and different interior patterns, (reversed white blue combination, but the colour was a little too strong. Again cut out with the lasercutter for a clean finish. in production, no doubt this would really be done with a diecut.

Receipt development

Based of the pattern development for other outcomes for Beautiful characters, as an additional outcome for print, I developed a simple receipt sleeve to be given with purchases web/instore.

taking the colours from the existing logo for the backing design, incorporate the design further.

For a clean finish, the final piece was cut out on the laser printer for added accuracy.

Receipt models were mocked up as an idea for point size and scale. Relatively simple incorporation of print pattern, and type choices. With something like a receipt, theres really no need to other design one.

Lookbook development

ready for the crit. Both sides to each document. I think I'll only print one complete (possibly two) for the final crit on monday, too many could be expensive for something ill probably have to change

Photography part 1

Strangely awkward to shoot all the polo shirts, even worst quality to the t-shirts?

From the first session of photography, from the set up in studio 4 created with the studio lights and a couple of tables set up, a few us got the setup sorted on the friday, and rotated as an needed. Usually the set up is fine, and from the first session of photos as you can see, results aren't great. Wherethe it was settings, or location but either way the photos came out terrible. After a quick 'auto levels/colour to all 300ish photos (batch process thankfully) there were a few salvaged examples, shown below.

Cropped and adjusted, these are idea for boards/website, with enough information available. Thanks to dan for the modelling, and ended my worries about bad fitting t-shirts, they don't look bad do they?
