MindNode, a mac application to produce mindmaps, really useful for directing and producing logical step by step decision making and mapping ideas. Really useful for the 'choosing the right knife' guide, I'm working on at the moment. Part-time during the course I work at a cook-shop in town and regularly asked on choosing a knife to use. As a starting brief, and to get work off the ground, producing a guide/disposable publication to guide customers and train staff in choosing different kitchen knives. From initial visual research, I've begun sketching ideas for what format and can be included.
Quirky fun dialogue, hopefully with a retro styled visual identity for type and colour.
Trying to limit scale, and get a balance for type and imagery. In terms of content and research, from staff training and experience. Additional information will be required for specific anatomy, but as required.
