Working off a playbill styled heavy slab typeface using guides on the page to see the top and bottom to set the serifs, and devise letterfroms from there. I do quite like some of the letterforms created, but as from a few pieces of feedback Ive had, a little too western.
Reminds me of the type for the Scott Pilgrim books. I think I will take a printout to the crit and get some feedback on how it can be improved. It has potential.. just needs a little work.
