Exploring and combing selected colours together as compositions has been quite open, compiling oversized pixels into patterns. Developing different colours in the same forms just to see where it would go.
Developing colour compositions further through photoshop and manipulating the placement and colour qualities. Some of the compositions look a little harsh and a little too bold, which I have taken further.
The effect applied to the mosaic pieces simplifies the pattern by combining selections of colours and creating new colours based on their percentages, giving smoother transitions of colour.
Really like the combinations on the largely purple version, creating tones of green and making the harsh yellow colour a little more subtle.
Taking the patterns further with other effects, making a speckle effect. Here are a few examples.
