Settling for now on this variation. a more refined version of the typefaces (and tracked back to one of the first examples) laying out the type designs into compositions for lyrics previously chosen from the album.
From development of compositions, I feel the italic versions work much better as a form to read, a little more elegant and a better reflection of the songs. Taking direct inspiration from listening to music while developing variations has definitely influenced this decision, and I think it has paid off.
Working on a square format, central placement to be the main focus of vinyl/CD covers or prints. Maybe a little tight leading on the lines of type but as an initial composition, very happy with what has been produced.

After some more development, applying context to the typefaces will be the next step. Adding a new element with give so much more to the design.
