Identity formed.

From a first knife purchase and initial training, usually the first of what is taught and bought is a selection of 3 key knives in the full range. A cooks knife, paring knife and bread knife are usually the first 3 knives and are the core knifes for a collection. Building a a portion of information will be based around these 3 knives, so why not create an identity around them? I find strapping information or a concept to an identity can direct development much better, and give a little sense of purpose.

After producing work for Peter Maturi previously and feedback given, applying original identity material to new work helps with the understanding of the brand. Above is the original target logo, so development has come from there.

Incorporating the blue colour chosen initially in development of the visual style.

Incorporating the original logo and typeface for PM (century gothic) I feel reflects the brand well.
