On the social network site twitter, I follow a wide range of designers, agencies, forums, artists, printers and manufacturers to keep up with upcoming work, opinions, inspiration and occasionally competitions.
From a pick of the followers for Ripe Digital- a Digital printers based just outside bristol, I was chosen for a free print job as one of the followers on twitter. Awesome! Although wanting to take advantage of the offer, I didn't want to push my luck so had a few Ideas and pointed Rik from Ripe in the right direction. I decided to print some business cards, a relatively simplistic design but on a variety of stock choices. As soon as I found out Ripe use Fedrigoni stocks, I jumped at the chance to try some interesting textures and finishes.
The business cards received (and quite alot of them too) are on 4 different finishes. Coated, uncoated and two textured stocks for a nice variety for different potential clients and application, all for free!
